Are you, like me, struggling to believe it is already June? But it must be since it is time for the June event email.
Some important things to note this month:
First: There is no quiz on the 3rd of June. But we will be back every other Wednesday this month!
Second: And another big change is that we are now charging the cost of the event at the time of booking. This doesn't affect the quizzes since they are free, but for the Social Tables and RPGs, you will buy your game pass when you book your spot, and you can show your ticket then when you arrive at the event.
There is more information on the event page, including details about cancellations and refunds. This is a new system for us, and as always, there could be hiccups, but we hope it will make the overall process on the night of the event easier and smoother for you and help us keep the events sustainable by reducing no-shows and last-minute cancellations.
Finally, we still have some tickets left (about 6 tickets at the time of writing this email) for our Murder Mystery dinner event on the 6th of June. So if you have been thinking about joining and helping us crack the case, I would snag your ticket now. You can read more about the event here or below, then follow the button to buy your ticket.
We also have had an influx of new subscribers who missed out on the discount last time, so for this weekend, we are giving another chance to use a special discount for our newsletter community. So read about that below, and hopefully we can catch a murderer together.

10th Studio Ghibli with Iris
Flowers are popping out of the ground after a LONG winter, so as we stop to smell the roses, let us test ourselves on the broad, bizarre, and beautiful topic of botany and review all the ways flowers show up in society!
17th Dungeons & Dragons with Kiara
Welcome, carbon-based lifeforms, to a quiz so improbably enjoyable that even a supercomputer like Deep Thought might need 7.5 million years to calculate how much fun you’re about to have.
Before we begin, a quick reminder: DON’T PANIC. So grab your towel, keep an eye out for falling sperm whales, and remember you already have the answer to life, the universe and everything!
24th Marvel MCU with Joakim
It´s time to gather your fellowship, bring them boiled potatoes and munch on some lembas bread! Cause we are going back to the world of Tolkien, this time, maybe it will be more than just the movies, so study up and let's see what Middle-earth can teach us this time!
NB: There is no need to sign up for the quizzes; they are free; however, we recommend booking a table to ensure you have a seat for quiz time.

What is the Social Table, you ask?
The Social Table is a table we book, and you join to play!
Come alone or with someone, but be prepared to mix it up with some friendly folk who are looking for company and learn a new board game too!
This event is all about facilitating connections and creating an environment of fun and friendship where you can meet new people and expand your knowledge of board games.
Board games are a great way to spend an hour or five, have easy-going conversations, and combat loneliness and boredom. So if you want to meet some lovely people, make friends with them, and play some games, come and join the social table!

4th Similo with Sinéy
It may just look like a pack of cards, but don't underestimate how fun this game is. Similo is a co-op deductive card game where you eliminate cards until one (hopefully the correct one) is left! Once you have played one deck, you can then start combining decks to make really tricky, oh, I mean fun!
11th Dirty Filthy Bikepacking with Sinéy
This is a silly, fun, and strange semi-co-op game. We need to work together to get to the next camp spot, but we can also gain an advantage by sabotaging each other. My favourite kinda of co-op, one riddle with mistrust and betrayal!
This game will be weird, random, and wonderful!
18th 7 Wonders with Emil
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but these wonders are different. Gather up to 7 players, gather resources for your city and decide the path it will take. Are you a trader that spreads its splendor, a scientist who unlocks the secrets of the world, or are you a general that cuts down the rest so your city stands the tallest? Time will tell, and hopefully you’ll have a great time figuring it out.
25th Magic Maze with Joakim
It's time for this co-op game to hit the tables. But the thing is, it's a co-op game where you have to give your fellow players the silent treatment. So take the role of a mage, a warrior, an elf, and a dwarf, and let's go and rob the local Magic Maze shopping mall, find the treasure, and locate the exit before the time runs out.

RPGs at Brads
Have you been wanting to try out DND but haven't found an opportunity, or feel a bit intimidated by the whole concept? Or maybe you want to try another RPG but don't know which one or where to start?
Well, then our one shots are for you. These are beginner-friendly, stand-alone events designed to introduce you to the world of D&D, Vampire the Masquerade, Daggerheart and as many other RPGs as we can manage.
All our one-shots assume that the players have little to no previous experience. Our GMs are ready to bring you into the amazing and fun world of role-playing and help you through all the adventures.

Raiding the Rats’ Run - DND with Paul | 14th June | 15:00
The Rats’ Run Tavern and Inn is known across town as a hive of criminal activity, catering to (amongst more mundane clientele) some of the toughest and most dangerous people on the streets of Baldur’s Gate.
Your goal is to rob it. Be it by subterfuge, espionage, or armed robbery, your employer cares only that a specific shipment of ill-got goods is liberated from this establishment within 3 days.
You must gather information, learn what you can about the establishment and the exploitable secrets of the guards and staff, and make off with the prize before the 3 days are up. Or fight your way through.
The long arm of the law reaches not a step into the Rats’ Nest.
“The Summer Solstice” - DND 5e with Lene | 21st june | 14:30
You return to your hometown for the summer solstice celebrations after having been away for quite some time.
It doesn't take long before old acquaintances and the magic of the solstice make your life more complicated than you anticipated.
“Clockblockers” - Fiasco with Lene | 28th June | 14:30
Time travel. One of mankind’s longest-lived dreams. Who hasn’t thought about seeing the pyramids built or watching the Berlin Wall tumble?
Well, that's LAME!!! You’re using the time machine for your own selfish, dangerous desires.
It’s only a matter of time before everyone can time-travel, so why not
Lie, cheat, and steal your way through history?
Mord och mysterier ansluter sig till maten på menyn ikväll!
Kom till Brad's för att unna dig lite mat, medan du listar ut vem som gjorde vad och varför i en unik upplevelse där Joakim står som värd.
Så ta fram din inre detektiv, gå igenom de olika ledtrådarna, diskutera och samarbeta för att lista ut vem du tror är mördaren och vem du tror är oskyldig.
Allt börjar när du öppnar kuvertet och lägger en samling bevis på bordet, inklusive saker som polisrapporter, foton, dokument och intervjuer. Genom att studera informationen kritiskt behöver du lista ut vad som är fakta, vem som ljuger, vad som är en avledningsmanöver och i slutändan vem som är mördaren.
Kvällens mordmysterier är från Hidden Reality - kända för sina fängslande och smarta mysterier. Startades 2022 av Albin Stööp med det första svenska, realistiska mordmysteriet, Mannen i fält.
Alla som älskar deckare, mysterier och smarta utmaningar blev direkt förälskade i den. Nu med många erbjudanden på deras webbplats kommer vi att demonstrera några av dem på vårt evenemang, om det finns tillräckligt smarta och modiga detektiver som är villiga att ta sig an fallet, vill säga! Vi hoppas att du och ditt team kan lista ut vem mördaren är!
Vad som ingår:
- En unik, rolig och annorlunda utekväll på ditt lokala favoritställe - Brads spelcafé. Perfekt dejtupplevelse eller något annorlunda att göra med vänner. Speciellt den där vännen som är besatt av Cluedo, true-crime-podcaster och whodunit-lokaler.
- En stor tugga och en husets drink vid ankomst.
- Små team på max 5 personer per fall, så att alla får chansen att bidra.
- En specialitet, en specialgjord cocktail/mocktail i början av mysteriet. Och lite snacks för att ge hjärnan bränsle under utredningen.
- Allt spelmaterial och ledtrådar som behövs för att knäcka fallet.
- En värd som hjälper dig med spelet och ser till att det blir trevligt (och att inga mördare får tag på dig innan du identifierat dem).
Observera: Detta evenemang är på svenska eftersom spelet är mycket språkberoende och på svenska. Det kräver en hög nivå av bekvämlighet med att läsa och prata på svenska.
