And just like that, the sun is out, May is here, and we have a new month packed full of events.
We have one special event happening in June (June 6th to be exact), which will be coming to your inboxes first before we go public with the details and sign-up links. We are just finalising some more details, so the big reveal will come in a separate email. I hope you don't mind me popping up in your inbox twice this month.
Of course, I have included all the details of our regular events coming up below. So have a perusal and make sure to sign up for the events you want to attend before they fill up!
6th Bizarre Botanicals with Sinéy
Flowers are popping out of the ground after a LONG winter, so as we stop to smell the roses, let us test ourselves on the broad, bizarre, and beautiful topic of botany and review all the ways flowers show up in society!
13th Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy with Sinéy
Welcome, carbon-based lifeforms, to a quiz so improbably enjoyable that even a supercomputer like Deep Thought might need 7.5 million years to calculate how much fun you’re about to have.
Before we begin, a quick reminder: DON’T PANIC. So grab your towel, keep an eye out for falling sperm whales, and remember you already have the answer to life, the universe and everything!
20th Lord of the Rings 2.0 with Joakim
It´s time to gather your fellowship, bring them boiled potatoes and munch on some lembas bread! Cause we are going back to the world of Tolkien, this time, maybe it will be more than just the movies, so study up and let's see what Middle-earth can teach us this time!
27th Pokémon with Iris
Dust off your Game Boys and ds’ because it’s time for some Pokémon throwbacks! Bring your Pokedex and best trainer cap to a fun night of Pokémon trivia with friends. Can you solve them all?!
NB: There is no need to sign up for the quizzes; they are free; however, we recommend booking a table to ensure you have a seat for quiz time.

7th Unlock with Sinéy
Do you ever have the urge to solve a puzzle and prove you are the smartest? What about doing it in 60 minutes or less? Unlock is an escape room-turned-board game, and each box comes with 3 mysteries, each lasting an hour (unless you are clever and do it faster). You will need to use your wits and your team to see if you can unlock this fun this time.
14th Munchkin with Sinéy
“Attack and loot in this humorous, card-based dungeon crawler” is the official tagline, but it doesn't even come close to capturing the silliness and pace of this game.
You will love this underrated classic by the end of the night, guaranteed!
Just don’t pick up the duck!
21st Dungeon Mayhem with expansion with Emil
For some reason, the adventure party has a small dispute, and it is time to settle this as always. The last one standing is correct. Cast spells, axes and words around, make and break alliances and be the one standing in the end to win in this PvP-based card game.
And who knows, maybe all this fuss has drawn out some monsters who would like to join in on the fun, also.
28th Exploding Kittens and Unstable Unicorns with Joakim
Kittens that explode, destruction and unicorns! What a night at Brads to look forward to! So come on over and see what these card games have to offer! But what we know now is that there will be alliances and betrayal, cute kittens and magical unicorns!

What is the Social Table, you ask?
The Social Table is a table we book, and you join to play!
Come alone or with someone, but be prepared to mix it up with some friendly folk who are looking for company and learn a new board game too!
This event is all about facilitating connections and creating an environment of fun and friendship where you can meet new people and expand your knowledge of board games.
Board games are a great way to spend an hour or five, have easy-going conversations, and combat loneliness and boredom. So if you want to meet some lovely people, make friends with them, and play some games, come and join the social table!

24th - Everdell with Emil
The not-so-little game of cosy creatures and critters. The iconic board with its towering tree is perhaps the most eye-catching element of this game. But don’t be fooled, below the tree lies an exceptionally fun worker placement game. It is a little bit more complex and deep game, but we are ready to show it off and get you all playing in the valley of Everdell.

RPGs at Brads
Have you been wanting to try out DND but haven't found an opportunity, or feel a bit intimidated by the whole concept? Or maybe you want to try another RPG but don't know which one or where to start?
Well, then our one shots are for you. These are beginner-friendly, stand-alone events designed to introduce you to the world of D&D, Vampire the Masquerade, Daggerheart and as many other RPGs as we can manage.
All our one-shots assume that the players have little to no previous experience. Our GMs are ready to bring you into the amazing and fun world of role-playing and help you through all the adventures.
So roll the dice, and book your spot!

Frogs? FROOOOOGS! - DND with Jess the Goblin | 10th May | 14:30
A wizard's prank might have gone terribly wrong. He sent a Frog to his nemesis place to prank him. However, his spell might just have backfired, as there are now waves and waves of frogs.
Will you be able to remove all the frogs, or will this village need to be evacuated?
“Salted Legacy” - DND with Lene | 17th May | 14:30
A series of disturbances plagues the Dyn Singh Night Market, an endlessly changing maze of stalls filled with incredible wares, enticing smells, and magical lights. A past feud between the well-respected Tyenmo and Xungoon merchant families is boiling up again.
To prevent the conflict from escalating, the party must try to find out who's behind a rash of vandalism and petty thefts.
“Courting Disaster” - Fiasco with Lene | 31st | 14:30
The Empire has been ruled stably for generations, its throne occupied by a young lad of only thirteen winters, who rules firmly but fairly, respected by all for his benevolence and wisdom... That's what the minstrels sing - at least when they are being paid by him.
The court is a hot mess. Political infighting, with pettiness and betrayals being the main entertainment for many of the courtiers. Now, they hunger for a bigger, louder, bolder scandal than any before.
In other words, what if everyone in Game of Thrones was 40% dumber and 60% greedier?
So those are all our regular events planned for the coming month. Do make sure to sign up for the ones you want as soon as you can to secure your spot.
